sensibilities, harmonic unpredictability, humor and a well-developed fashion sense.

Their music is inspired by a mid-century aesthetic, played on accordion by Karina, and guitar, banjo and other stringed instruments by Miles. They have been commissioned several times to compose new original scores which they perform live to vintage Silent Films, including being selected by SIFF to accompany two of the “Hitchcock 9” restoration series of his early silent films.

David and Nova have been playing music together since being members of the 1990’s band Ranch Romance, and have performed at Wintergrass in the past with both “Jo Miller and Her Burly Roughnecks,”  “The Buckaroosters” and “The Rolling Blackouts.”
