On July 2nd, Lil Wayne was a surprise guest during Day 3 of the 2023 ESSENCE Festival Of Culture, which took place at Caesars Superdome in his hometown New Orleans, Louisiana.

Weezy came out in an all-pink Rick Owens fit and performed “Mr. Carter“, “Uproar“, “Let The Beat Build“, “Lollipop“, “Mrs. Officer“, “Fireman“, “Rich As F*ck“, “6 Foot 7 Foot“, “Steady Mobbin’“, “A Milli“, and more songs live for everyone in attendance.

However, Tunechi did not feel like the people at the front of the crowd were feeling his performance. You can check out some recaps of the show below! Tune had his mother Jacida Carter and kids Reginae, Dwayne Michael III and Neal backstage with him, and was also spotted meeting Caroline Wanga plus Flau’jae Johnson!
