Red McFly Drops Music Video For “Wipe Out”

Allentown, Pennsylvania, often takes a backseat when we think of major cities. While it ranks as the state’s third-largest city, it frequently remains overshadowed by the prominence of Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. Red Mcfly, however, is on a mission to change that narrative, rapidly ascending in the music scene. Known as “The 5 Foot 10 Giant,” he returns with an enticing new visual for “Wipe Out,” the leading single from his upcoming album, “Life Is Crazy 2,” a sequel to last year’s “Life Is Crazy.”

The music video provides a glimpse into Red McFly’s daily life, both onstage and behind the scenes. It features appearances by members of Take Flight Society, his independent label, and a cameo by G-eazy, a renowned platinum rapper/producer hailing from Oakland, California. Red McFly’s lyrics pull no punches, affirming his authenticity with lines like “a real one here, never been a rat.” He also injects humor into his verses, playfully boasting about the allure he holds for women, even when adorned in his chains. Additionally, he pays homage to the incarcerated rapper Max B, acclaimed as the Wave God in the industry, consistently chanting “free the wave” in his adlibs.

Notably, Red McFly has dedicated significant effort to producing high-quality music for Benny The Butcher and artists under Benny’s BSF (Black Soprano Family) label. His production skills shine in tracks like “The Warehouse” by Fuego Base, OT The Real, and Benny The Butcher, as well as “Take A Look” by Fuego Base, Benny The Butcher, Rick Hyde, Lo Pro, and Uncle Murda. Red McFly even makes a cameo in the latter’s music video, offering a behind-the-scenes glimpse into their collaborative process, including Benny going live on his Instagram to commend Red McFly’s exceptional production and work ethic.

While many artists face challenges when creating sequels to albums, Red McFly appears to be off to an impressive start with “Wipe Out” as the lead single. As he continues to push boundaries and redefine his musical journey, his dedication to making Allentown a significant player in the music industry is undeniably commendable.
