My Favorite Color, returns with a double single release, “car pack,” out now via Rostrum Records. A 2-song single composed of “Pink Lac” and “Nissan,” “car pack”  tells the story of two different relationships, each based on very different values. Each relationship can be compared to the difference you experience while riding in a car — some rides are bumpy with a few conflicts, while others are smooth and easy. “car pack” is a relatable and rugged follow-up to his previous single, “Man Man” featuring Valee, which dropped late last year.

On these two singles, the Pittsburgh native leans into the natural rasp and grain of his delivery, giving us a classic feel that feels familiar but fluid at the same time. The first track, “Pink Lac,” describes a relationship that revolves around materialistic values and status, like being able to ride around sunny Los Angeles in a convertible pink Cadillac. On the flip side, “Nissan” represents that ride-or-die type of relationship, where somebody will be with you whether you have a pink Cadillac or a beat-up, gray Nissan.
