Saturday July 30th, DJ KnockOut announced his upcoming mixtape “Heart and Hustle” via Instagram (@IamDJKnockOut) on his story.
Set for release on Friday, August 26th, “Heart and Hustle” is a highly anticipated mixtape orchestrated by DJ KnockOut with exclusive unreleased music featured from; Elz Bentley, Phillip MF2C, Mikey Trillfiger, Corio and more. “In the past I dropped a lot of mixtapes, but on “Heart and Hustle” I wanted to take my time and put together a well structured project with an album like feel.”, says DJ KnockOut.

“Each song was hand picked.” Often times when DJs do mixtapes artist typically purchase slots or submit music to be featured. I didn’t want that to be the case with this project. I wanted this to have a more personal feel.” When asked the question why the title, “Heart and Hustle” KnockOut replied “It’s simple, honestly. My heart and my hustle is what got me where I am today.”
