Bad Betty is an only child on her Mom’s side Born in Baltimore MD, Raised in SW Philly and Nicetown Philly. She grew up in Aurora Illinois for adolescent years later returned back to SW Philly when she was 13.

She attended Progressive dance school majoring in Jazz , Modern & Hip hop and was the caption on drill team (Showtime & Eastwick Commandoes). She also attended John Robert Powers Modeling school & lastly was President of Neumann Dance Team.  She has been in love with music and creative arts since 5 years old.

When she lost her father due to gun violence at 14 she looked for love in the streets. Was around the wrong crowd , got into some trouble. She attended a disciplinary school CEP for 2 years  . She started writing poems as an outlet for all the pain she felt and later recited them in school.  She went off to get a bachelors degree in Communications and Media arts minors in criminal justice & philosophy. It was special because she had a daughter in her senior year in college . She pushed me her finish. She started taking her music career more serious after graduating.

She found her voice with first and foremost from her Mom the CEO of clothing line @stylzn3D she always told me she was pretty and would hype me up everytime there was a performance. She was just a baby herself having her at 16 . She always believed in her and allowed for her to always be herself.

Musically she has a wide spread of artists inspired by like Eve , Charlie Baltimore , Amil , Lil Mo, Missy Elliott, Nicki Minaj, Lil Kim, Jay Z , State Property , Eness , RJPayne, Reed Dollaz, Lauryn Hill ,Beyonce , Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Brandy , Most Def , Chris Brown and a few more more you take all of those and u get “Bad Betty”!

She has opened up for Trina , 37macc, Gillie da kid  , Beanie Siegel , Freeway, Eness , Eurogotit, Lady Luck , Cuban Doll, and more, as well as performing live in front of the late DMX .

She is a part of a sitcom in Philly called “ Yo bro” directed by Karen Shaw + RA Certfied. She is a full-time engineer at Rock&Roland Records. She has been casted for the first reality tv show in Philly “Surviving Philly “ which will be aired this fall 2022. She is the newest Radio Personality Partner (Dj Gregnice)  on 98.5 “IN THE MIX  with DJGREGNICE & BADBETTY “ .
