The 2019 XXL Freshman Class list is finally here!

In its 12th year, the Xxl Freshman Class continues to spotlight Hip Hop’s rising talent. Year after year, breakout artists are chosen by industry tastemakers, rappers, industry colleagues, Hip Hop heads, the fans, and more. The (long) list is then broken down even further by XXL staff – arguing their way to a list of at least ten artists. This year, ELEVEN, have been named – including: Tierra Whack, DaBaby, Roddy Rich, Comethazine, YBN Cordae, YK Osiris, Rico Nasty, Gunna, Megan Thee Stallion, and Blueface.

Over the course of a month, XXL will release exclusive content from each of these artists – including behind-the-scenes content, interviews, freestyles, a cipher, roundtable discussions, and more. The print version of the Freshman issue hits stands on July 16th, so mark your calendars!
