The manufacturer greatly improved the ventilation system, Shell, and overall quality. It is both DOT and ECE certified helmet However, not a Snell Certified.
This isn’t an issue if you are not planning to use this helmet professionally on race tracks. In fact being a non-snell certified helmet makes it extremely lightweight. It weighs just about 4 pounds and a total shipping weight of 4.8 pounds.
It has an extremely soft lining and fits the head well. Also, the helmet has Four intake ports across the front of helmet causes the cold air to flow in and warm air to flow out of the 5 vents.
The air flow is crazy good. The vents keep fresh air coming in and all the vents are really easy to operate ( Even if you have your gloves on )
The internal sun visor is easy to use and easy to remove & also seal very well when closed.

All Rounder: IV2 Butterfly
I bought this helmet is a present for my fiancé. Guess what? She absolutely loved it! It is solid, comfortable and fits her head perfectly.
The IV2 butterfly helmet is probably the most rated and reviewed helmet by users. It gets a super Awesome rating of 4.5 out of total 5 and the helmet weighs just 4 pounds.
The reason why it is probably lightweight is because of the light weight ABS composite shell. Another great thing about this helmet is that it is extremely safe and that it has EPS Impact Absorption Inner Liner.
The check pads inside the helmet are easily removable and washable. So you don’t have to worry about the helmet getting smelly after a year of use.
The IV2 butterfly helmet packs a lot in this price. I mean 40 bucks isn’t a huge amount compared to other high-end helmets. Also, the helmet does not have a cheap feel to it. Instead, when I checked it for the first it, it felt very solid and high quality.
Plus the design and Pink Graphics are really nice. It is basically matte and has butterflies on it ( as the name suggests )
And did I forget to tell you that it is indeed a DOT certified helmet – This is by far the most appropriate safety test. As far as the noise is concerned, the helmet is really quiet and block out most of the distortion while driving at high speeds.
