PBN is one of the best and the most used tactics noawaday to rank a website.
However, some people buy the best PBN's, following the best Onpage tactics and still, they get stucked on the 2nd/3rd pages or even worse.
There might be many different reasons why your site stucks out of the first page.
Everybody know you need topical relevance or HQ content to reach first page, but sometimes, it is just not enough.
Why does it happen?
The reason is hidden in the power of the PBN itself.
The reason why PBN are so strong is because you are getting links from the Homepages of really strong domains, and because the homepage has the most juice in a website, you're getting really juicy links.
But, have you ever thought how many homepages are there in the Internet?
Let's assume the average site has 50 pages (just rough estimation from my head) - it means that 2% (1/50) of the internet is built off homepages.
Now, if homepages are only 2% of the Internet, it should be quite challenging to get links from homepages. Not impossible, but challenging.
Let's assume you built 20 PBN links to one of your money pages, and that those are the only links built.
If only 2% of the internet are homepages, how come 100% of your links coming from homepages?
Google knows that and they added a filter for this somewhere in the last years and this is the reason that even your best PBN links are not working sometimes.
How to solve it?
The way to combat it is really simple, just get links from inner pages.
They can be inner PBN links (not homepages!), forum links, video sharing sites, guest posts, niche edits or whatever.
The goal here is just to have more links coming from inner pages rather than just homepages.
I don't have any magic number or ratio, but just try to make it look natural.
If you built 5 links to a page, it's fine to have 3 homepage links, as the numbers are small.
However, if you built 50 links to a page, it won't be natural if it has 30 homepage links, as it looks really unnatural.
