I look at it this way. We use GA to improve our Serps, based on what info we get from GA. we make changes to improve our sites ranking,
So maybe Google uses the info in a way we are not allowed to know or see. I would worry about other factors that we know affect our rankings. Like page titles, quality content etc, etc.
