McLaren 12C GT Sprint track edition

The McLaren 12C GT Sprint track edition is an extreme vehicle featuring an impressive aerodynamic program with cooling upgrades. In fact, the car is a modification of the road going McLaren 12C.

McLaren 12C GT Sprint track edition: Design

The high performance GT Sprint is based on a modified chassis. The ultra light carbon fibre MonoCell structure is combined with ProActive Chassis Control, Brake Steer and the McLaren Airbrake. The aerodynamic kit includes an integral air-jacks, centre-lock 19-inch OZ wheels, Pirelli racing slick tyres,  a full roll-cage, lightweight composite race seat, unique GT3-influenced bonnet and front bumper.

The lower ride height is teamed with a recalibrated suspension system. Drivers can select three handling modes.

The front is highlighted by an agressive front bumper,  and front wing louvres. The McLaren 12C GT Sprint uses track-focused braking system with carbon ceramic (CCM) brake discs.

The interior features a rollcage and integrated fire extinguisher system which comply with the FIA regulations. The cabin shines with its innovative carbon fibre dash with  digital display.

McLaren 12C GT Sprint track edition: Power

The McLaren 12C GT Sprint track edition is powered by a  3.8-litre twin turbo engine mated to a seven speed twin clutch gearbox. The powertrain boasts 625PS.
The 12C GT Sprint track car is one of the most eagerly anticipated cars during the Goodwood Festival of Speed. The 12C lineup also includes a racing McLaren 12C GT3, and McLaren 12C GT Can-Am Edition.
