Most well-appointed pick-ups are offered solely in double cab guise, but some prospective customers would happily trade passenger accommodation for more cargo space. Isuzu’s latest D-Max variant is intended to satisfy their requirements.

The new Yukon Luxe – which, significantly, is available only with an extended cab – adds extra kit to the existing Yukon trim grade.

A set of 18” ‘Black Shadow’ alloy wheels and a tailgate damper comprise the exterior enhancements. Inside, black and red two-tone leather replaces the usual cloth upholstery.

Those items are in addition to the regular Yukon specification that includes manual air conditioning, Bluetooth connectivity, a reversing camera, hill descent control and side steps.

Yukon Luxe Extended Cab on-the-road pricing starts at £22,509 (excluding VAT). By comparison, the equivalent non-Luxe Yukon model is £1,000 cheaper.
