E-Racer is a company that gives collaborative globalization in motorcycles a whole new meaning. Based in Bologna, Italy, the company has developed a unique custom Cafe Racer based on the American Zero Motorcycles SR / F motorcycle with components that are made in Germany.

The E-Racer Edge Cafe Racer builds on the Zero SR/F platform with mostly the same specifications where it gets the same 110 horsepower and 190Nm torque and a maximum speed of 200kmph while weighing almost the same at 220kg. The 75-10 permanent magnet AC motor, 14.4 kWh battery and clutchless direct drive transmission are the same as well. Where the EDGE differs largely though is in its design, and of course, the price.

The EDGE takes the cafe racer approach in design by replacing the stock parts with a new full-LED headlight, bodywork, semi-handlebars and handmade saddle that is hand-stitched. There’s also a full CNC-machined steering plate. There is also a custom paint under the rider legs and under-saddle area that is reinforced with resistant armor paint that extremely scratch resistant. the custom electric motorcycle also features an audio feedback system that informs pedestrians about the silent E-motorcycle’s presence while also giving feedback to the rider at variable speeds.

The E-Racer Edge will be available for sale starting spring 2020 for a price of 6000 Euros above the base motorcycle cost and will be made as per the specification of customers.
