The Lamborghini Diablo SE30 From Jamiroquai’s ‘Cosmic Girl’

For the 1996 holiday season Jamiroquai singer Jay Kay came up with a funky disco tune that featured a red Ferrari F40 alongside a black Ferrari F355 Berlinetta… and this very Lamborghini Diablo SE30 in shiny purple speeding down the highway in ultra-fast forward-motion-blur. This Lamborghini Diablo SE30, which in itself is a rare one of 150 examples series, off which Jay Kay’s model is an even rarer one of 16 right hand drive cars ever made. The car is currently available on auction at Autotrader who have received the car from the pop star for the second time.

Featuring one of the most unique paintwork on a Lamborghini, that from afar, resonates of the badass gangster supercars from the streets of Japan, Jay Kay’s Diablo SE30 has the strong purple vibe (Viola Metallic) transferring on the the inside as well, around carbon fibre parts and brushed metal. This is car no 142/150 with 27,804km (17,276 miles) on the odo with 5 previous owners.

Here’s a video of the chart topping single from the mid-90s, which if you didn’t know has a guest appearance by Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason, who is actually driving his own Ferrari F40 in the video. Watch on.
