This immaculately restored Norton Commando Mk3 850cc parallel twin should take you back to the British aura of the 70’s

The Mark III or Norton Commando Mk3 850 cc was the last motorcycle Norton ever made before it went into receivership by the end of the 70s. It would be at least a decade before the iconic British motorcycle manufacturer would be revived, which in whole was a result of cheaper and more reliable Universal Japanese Motorcycles coming into the scene. These bikes were among the most famous and widely bought Norton-Villiers motorcycles. The bikes had that unmistakable British appeal and build and were powered by OHV Pre-Unit Parallel Twin engines. From 1967 to 1973, the Commando was available in a 750cc displacement while 1973 onwards, it got a bigger 850cc mill. The brilliance of the Norton Commando was so much so that the bike had won the prestigious “Machine of the Year” award by Motor Cycle News for a staggering five successive years starting from 1968 to 1972.
