Gino Bux finished second in the 2022 Kroon Oil Belgian Rally Championship in a Skoda, his first year in a Rally2 car. This year he switches to a VW Polo R5 and a new codriver.

He had a strong outing in the first round of the Championship, the Rally van Haspengouw, where he took two stage wins and finished fourth. He had a bogey stage, that of Gingleholm, where he was a little off the pace he was showing on the other three stages. The roads in Limberg are narrow and slippery, and as first car on the road Bux had to deal with a lot of surface dust.

However, he has shown strongly, and here we take a look at his first rally in the VW…
