Soft, warm and always luxurious, Cashmere Socks are definitely on my must have list for fall and winter. However, the downside of these socks is the delicate narture of the fibre so be warned!
This is not the rough and tumble merino that can go anywhere and do anything. Cashmere socks have their limits. I found this out after a winter of morning walks that left the heels of my Pantherella cashmere socks threadbare.
So, if your thinking of dishing out £24 or more per pair for this delightful fabric, know that they will not be the workhorse of your hosiery collection and that care should be taken with them as even walking around the house too much (sans shoes) is not advisable.
