This advanced thermometer wirelessly transmits the data to an accompanying mobile app where users can keep track of their daily records. The app provides access to features such as a healthcare wiki, expert consultation, LBS healthcare, and medical suggestions to name a few. The thermometer also comes packaged with a handy case that sanitizes the device using UV light after each use.
The Comper Smart Doppler Fetal Monitor is a handheld ultrasound device that allows mothers to listen, record, and share audio of their baby’s heart beats from the convenience of their own homes. Designed for one-handed operation, the fetal monitoring device reads heart beats ranged from 65 to 210 beats per minute and connects to smartphones installed with the accompanying app to store the data. The app also issues alerts upon detection of any unusual activity requiring the mother’s immediate attention.
According to Comper, both devices are FDA-approved in the United States and CE-approved in Europe. Distribution is set for both devices in June. The components will be sold separately for $90 each, with announced plans to release a packaged set containing both devices for $150.
