Europ.In is a lovely web Application that gives a Pinterest-like view of some of the Wellcome Library's more visually interesting material.

The Wellcome Library contributes material from our Wellcome Images and Wellcome Film collections to Europeana via the EuropeanaLibrariesproject. These contributions allow our material to be discovered in Europ.In. As important is Europeana’s decision to make its metadata freely available and re-usable available under CC0.

The Europeana Professional blog reports of the winners: “One of our team asked, 'How could we make something that my grandmother would use?' The result is an application in which people can view hundreds of images at once, then access a close-up view of an item's details, links to related items and sharing options.”
