Fall is nearly here in the Fraser Valley and while this Fall will be a little different, there are plenty of fun, safe, socially distanced kids’ activities that the whole family will enjoy. To help give you ideas for keeping kids entertained over the next few months, the team here at Aura Orthodontics is sharing some of our favorite fall activities for kids in Abbotsford, Surrey and Langley, BC.

1. Get Your Hands Dirty at a Releaf Tree Planting Event

Various Locations, Surrey, BC – Volunteering to plant trees and shrubs is a great kids’ activity in Surrey, BC. Not only will it help grow Surrey’s urban forest, it teaches kids about biodiversity and the importance of creating habitats for animals. The rain-or-shine events include shade tree planting and forest enhancement planting all around Surrey on a variety of dates. Participants will be spaced out appropriately and the City of Surrey will provide all tools and training. Be sure to wear sturdy shoes and dress for the weather. Pre-registration is required. Check out the dates and locations and register here

2. Admire the Fall Foliage at Green Timbers Urban Forest

14600 Block of 100 Avenue, Surrey, BC – Green Timbers Urban Forest has over 10 kilometres of nature trails, making social distancing a breeze. It also happens to be one of the best places to see the spectacular fall leaves in Surrey. Round up the family and head out on the trails.
