The horrific pandemic that they have not told you about


No, it is not Ebola although there is currently another major epidemic ongoing in Africa.

This pandemic is ravaging the planet with a death toll of over 59000 each year and almost 100 percent mortality. While this disease is rampant through much of Africa and Asia and parts of South and Central America, there is no country that is completely immune. Sadly, once the disease symptoms have appeared, there is little that seems to be able to done to stop it and the steps leading to death are horrible. The problem is that a majority of those exposed are children and as a result, they are not so likely to report their exposure --More-- . The main sources of rabies infection are from dogs and bats but there are other possible sources of exposure.  Rabies, viral in nature, is rampant in some countries such as India, Congo, and Sudan and it is more predominant in rural areas.

There has recently been a couple of cases of rabies survival which is encouraging despite the extensive costs involved. In these cases induced coma has been found to increase survival of this disease but is a very expensive process that may not be available to many third world countries. There are also a couple of unexplored modalities which may be life saving, possibly even in the last stages of the disease.

The real issue is that until obvious symptoms set in, infected individuals rarely realize the threat and by time the symptoms set in, it is basically the point of no return as far as conventional methodology is concerned. The problem here is that vaccines take time to build the immune systems up and once symptoms appear, there is insufficient time left.

For that reason, there needs to be an alternative tried that while possibly not as effective as timely sought vaccinations, has an ability to work much faster, to at a minimum slow the progress of illness and may possibly cause a definite setback in the progression. The method that I am referring to is the use of a LVPEF device. These devices can easily be demonstrated to effectively destroy many, if not all microbes in water based environments using safe low voltage pulses. There are a range of these devices in production, varying from crudely made products that while not scientifically tested, do have a strong anecdotal following to some advanced products made with greater precision and capabilities.

LVPEF is a lower voltage form of PEF that is recognized by the FDA for the elimination of microbes in water, juices, and even milk. This form of PEF is, due to the high volume production requirements, of a higher voltage than should be applied to humans or animals. For this reason, LVPEF was introduced to apply electric pulses at a lower voltage that would be recognized as safe for human use ( or on animals ) but at longer periods of application to compensate for the difference.

Visual microscopic observation of microbes while the signal is applied shows that microbes such as bacteria, protozoa, fungi, and even some algae are literally ripped apart by the signal while the cells of upper level organisms appear to be unaffected by the pulses. This is believed to be a result of the differences in the cell walls and cell membranes of various organisms. It is believed that virus are also destroyed by the same effect, however, this can not be easily verified due to current limitations in microscopy.

There is also a moral issue that must be considered when contemplating the use of such new technologies for treating disease and illness. That issue is that in any endeavor to fight disease or illness, no additional or undue harm should be caused to the patient. In consideration of an almost 100 percent mortality in such cases, any increased survival should be considered to be a pure blessing. In anecdotal statements, there has been minimal reporting of any negative effects other than minor skin burns and possibly the reduction of gut flora which can be easily replenished.

Considering the minor risks and the potentially life saving advantage of using such products in cases of rabies infections it would seem that world health authorities would jump at the opportunity to potentially ease suffering and hopefully to save lives.
