When will the American people get Tired of living on the HOPE that Diabetes, for instance, will be cured?
How many billions of our tax dollars will be spent on reserch, only to come up with no cures and only more synthetic treatments of our symptoms?
Must we be satisfied with this? I think many of us are getting tired of it.
When herbs are used traditionally, people keep using them for a reason. Shouldn't we maybe look into it?
When herbs are producing more satisfactory results to the people involved -- if not to the bottom line of the pharmaceutical companies -- don't you think it's worth some public research funding to find out why? I do.
I sense a groundswell of distrust and frustration with our medical system building up, like a wave ready to crash on the rocks.
When enough of us call on our legislators for action, we usually get it. Think about that. Our allopathic medical system, for all its successes, still fails us too often.
We need a "Tea Party", a united front, to shake off this pharmaceutical domination of the practice of healing and easing pain. When an herb does a better job for the patient, they should have that option.
Some of us look at the failures of modern medicine and we don't want to be limited to a system that kills so many of us. Calling medical errors and drug-caused deaths the Fourth Leading Cause of Death in the U.S. is being kind. We want our freedom of choice in how to support our sense of health.
Is that too much to ask?
