but of course it's not just in the USA: the dirty little secret is that the Ukrainian mess started after the funding of the revolution against the pro Russian president, which worked. But it is not always sucessful: The attempt of the CIA to stop Duterte included funding Rappler (illegally by the way) to try to stop him. I love the part where she claims that Omidyar didn't try to influence the stories. Of course not.
