Recommended Chronic Fatigue Treatments

If you suffer from Chronic Fatigue, you know how challenging it can be to revitalize your health and get back to the optimal state of vibrancy you had before. If you suffer from chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), also known as myalgic encephalomyelitis (ME), you know your condition can often hold you back from exerting more energy no matter how much you might want to.

At the American Center for Biological Medicine (ACBM), we take a holistic approach to biological medicine. Whether your fatigue is a major symptom or side effect presenting in the body due another health-related issue of if you suffer from CFS/ME, we can help.

Over the last month, we have been discussing various treatment options offered at the ACBM that can help individuals with a variety of ailments. Below we have rounded-up treatment options that are particularly helpful in treating chronic fatigue and increasing your energy levels. Let’s take a closer look.

Colon Hydrotherapy

In our blog Detox Your Body with Colon Hydrotherapy, we consulted with the Certified Colon Hydrotherapist and Colonics Expert Dawn Nasta about the detox process and what colonics entails. Colon hydrotherapy aids the body in eliminating stored fecal matter in the colon which lessens the potential for what’s called “autointoxication” or the recycling of toxins throughout the body. Dawn recommends colon hydrotherapy to those of us that are exposed to toxins and stress, so just about everyone, especially those suffering from chronic fatigue.

IV Therapy

In our blog Improve Your Body with IV Therapy, we spoke directly with one of the ACBM’s founders, Dr. Jeoffrey Drobot, NMD. The ACBM offers a wide variety of IV therapies. Dr. Drobot says that IV therapy is the most effective way of receiving the majority of vitamins and nutrients needed to improve your health primarily due to the increased amount of absorption.

Lymphatic Massage

We consulted with the ACBM’s resident Massage Therapist Daniel Birdsall in TLC for Your Lymphatic System. The lymphatic system serves major functions within the body including removing toxins such as metabolic waste and unhealthy environmental toxins as well as developing the immune system. If your lymphatic system is congested, you may very well be experiencing chronic fatigue. Getting a lymphatic massage or using a lymphatic drainage technology like the Lymphstar Pro can improve lymphatic health.

Gemstone Therapy

In Recharge Your Energy with Gemstone Therapy, we spoke with health expert Dr. Jennifer Markham about Gemstone Therapy and how it can help get you out of that hot Arizona summertime slump. Gemstone Therapy not only helps with seasonal fatigue, but chronic fatigue as well. Dr. Markham says, “Gemstone Therapy is excellent conjunctive support for proper sleep due to its effects on the nervous systems and lymphatic system.”

Neurofeedback

Neurofeedback, also known as neural therapy, is a noninvasive process where the brain waves are monitored in real time in order to produce changes in brain wave activity and create normal brain wave patterns. We spoke with Dr. Ann Marie Milliken in Train Your Brain with Neurofeedback. Neurofeedback can help with chronic fatigue, anxiety, depression, insomnia, ADD, migraines, memory loss, anyone who has had a concussion or brain injury, or individuals with nervous system conditions.

Soundbed Therapy

Lastly, we consulted again with Dr. Jennifer Markham in Combat Chronic Fatigue with this 30-Minute Treatment about Soundbed Therapy. Soundbed Therapy works by creating deep relaxation through cellular resonance. Dr. Markham says, “Deep relaxation, when the nervous system is parasympathetic, is absolutely required for the body to rejuvenate and repair!”
