So What Is It Then?

I’ve been sick for a really long time.
I got my period when I was 10 years old and the complications started straight away. Earlier this year, I decided to do something about it.
I was so exhausted from the unbearable pain, unexplained bleeding, hair loss, weight gain, depression, anxiety and IBS, among other things.
My doctor tested me for everything. I can now say that I don’t have any kind of cancer, tuberculosis, malaria, and many other awful sounding diseases. Then I was tested for PCOS. I had blood tests to check my hormones, abdominal ultrasounds and transvaginal ultrasounds to make sure I didn’t have any cysts. It all came back clear and I was back to square one.
Then my contraceptive pill was changed to treat endometriosis. It eased the symptoms but I definitely didn’t feel 100% still.
Two weeks ago I had a colposcopy where a gyno basic puts vinegar on your cervix and waits for a magical reaction to see if you’ve got any abnormalities. That was clear too and it was heavily speculated that I have endo.
I was put on this new miracle pill that stops the menstrual cycle so no endo tissue can grow. It’s working pretty amazingly so far but of course, it’s a privatised drug and costs $80 a month.
So now I’m broke, with speculated endometriosis and laparoscopy booked for 3 months time to see if they can pull any endo tissue that’s grown where it shouldn’t have.
As if being a girl wasn’t hard enough already.
