For starters we have to say that the layout and buttons of the camera are really easy to use, particularly when is mounted.

The photo and video quality is also great, I uploaded a night and shoot a couple of nighttime stills, and I can’t complain at all.

Also we've been impressed with how sensitive the microphones are, and the clarity of the sound is outstanding.

In our opinion is a little odd that in these days of modern technology the camera requires 8 AA batteries. Even though it is not an awful waste of time, it is still an outrageous number of batteries.

The bottom line is that the product is great, and its top notch performance more than justify the price of the camera.

The camera have some features that stand up when compare to the competition. For example the majority of the cameras will start shooting pictures as the object entered the front sensor getting in to the picture in the wrong moment. The camera is also very easy to setup and the well designed LCD screen works very cleverly. It is possible to choose the desired quality of the picture, and there is also a movie mode available.

All in all we liked the camera, but to get a better rating the camera should have better sound quality.

The G42NG Trail Camera is a solid built product, and is just as good as the top cameras in the market for day and night time use. Detection range varies with setup, but worked also very well. The trigger speed is faster than many of its competition, and also this camera saves files in a form that shows the image in the icon making it easy to scan through files.

Very easy to set up and no fuss or hiccups. It can be set to the preset setting where it takes 1 pic and waits 30 seconds before it takes another one. If set it to the lowest setting takes 157 pictures over a month length with generic batteries and still have battery life left.

It is a good camera and its performance is more than decent.
