Indian MDF manufacturer Greenpanel Industries Ltd. yet again retained their belief on DIEFFENBACHER as they extended their order. This time Greenpanel ordered a MAIER chipping line for an MDF plant that is to be installed in Routhusuramala, Andhra Pradesh. This is the third time that Greenpanel trusted on the German technology and on DIEFFENBACHER. This newly ordered MDF line is scheduled to work from 2024.
Revealing his trust on DIEFFENBACHER, Shobhan Mittal, Managing Director and CEO of Greenpanel says, “It’s great that we can get everything for our new plant from a single source at DIEFFENBACHER”. He also believes that this new addition of MAIER wood yard technology will also help the company fulfill the demand for the highest quality MDF. The order is for a special MAIER Drum Chipper with a rotor diameter of 1600 mm and it also includes drum chipper feeding line, consisting of a chain bed conveyor adapted for multiple crane feeding, a cleaning zone and a chipper belt conveyor with metal detector.
“Within DIEFFENBACHER’s complete plant portfolio, MAIER machines cover the wood yard and size-reduction process steps,” explains Alexander Hoffmann, Managing Director of DIEFFENBACHER subsidiary B. Maier Zerkleinerungstechnik GmbH in Bielefeld, Germany. Highlighting the benefits he also pointed out that, “One of our core competencies is the design, construction and supply of complete chipping lines based on drum chippers with rotor diameters of up to 2400 mm.” Greenpanel also plans to make the most of this new addition. This particular chipping line has been designed to process up to 60 tons of bone-dry wood per hour and Greenpanel will be using this to process eucalyptus to make high-quality wood chips for MDF manufacturing.
Greenpanel one of the most well-known manufacturers of the wood panel in India is confidently partnering with the highly experienced DIEFFENBACHER for a long time. Therefore, DIEFFENBACHER who has already delivered their first MAIER chipping line at Merino Industries Ltd.’s new particleboard production site in Halol, Gujarat is now all set to deliver the second MAIER chipping line within just two years to Greenpanel.
