‘Meet in Ireland’ Takes the Spotlight at IMEX Frankfurt 2024

Tourism Ireland, along with Fáilte Ireland and Tourism Northern Ireland, is leading the ‘Meet in Ireland’ campaign at IMEX Frankfurt 2024. They are promoting Ireland as a top destination for Business Events, engaging with numerous international meeting and incentive travel organizers.

IMEX Frankfurt is a major event in the global Business Events industry, attracting stakeholders from corporate meetings, events, and incentive travel sectors. At the ‘Meet in Ireland’ booth, 35 distinguished Irish tourism entities specializing in Business Events are hosting approximately 1,900 commercial meetings with global planners. These interactions are expected to generate substantial Business Events revenue for Ireland, potentially amounting to millions of euros for 2024 and beyond.

Tourism Ireland aims to facilitate many commercial Business Events meetings, creating essential links between Irish tourism partners and international buyers. Leveraging Ireland’s excellent infrastructure, luxurious accommodations, state-of-the-art venues, stunning landscapes, and unmatched hospitality, they showcase the island as an ideal venue for large and small-scale events.

Recent data from the CSO highlights Ireland’s attractiveness, with close to 1 million Business Tourists visiting in the year ending March 2024.
