InterLnkd Emerges Victorious in Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2024 Start-up Pitch Battle

InterLnkd, based in the UK, clinched the top spot in the third ATM Start-up Pitch Battle, organized in collaboration with Intelak, amidst fierce competition at ATM 2024’s final day. The company utilizes specific data points and an intelligent matching engine to bridge the travel and hospitality sectors with fashion, beauty, and retail industries.

This year’s competition witnessed a substantial surge in entries, with 33 travel start-ups vying for the coveted title, marking a remarkable 158% increase compared to last year’s figures. Finalists ClearQuote Technologies ME Ltd, stayK, and InterLnkd presented their innovative solutions to judges Sarah Saddouk, Director of Innovation at Entrepreneur.com, and Mohammad Khoori from the Ventures Team at Emirates Group.

Barry Klipp, Co-Founder and CEO of InterLnkd, emphasized the company’s pioneering role in connecting travel and hospitality with fashion, beauty, and retail, thereby generating incremental revenue streams for the former and targeted sales solutions for the latter.

Klipp elaborated, stating, “Through specific data points and a unique intelligent matching engine powered by AI algorithms, InterLnkd facilitates the connection of thousands of bookings from travel and hospitality with thousands of products from fashion, beauty, and retail, fostering incremental revenue streams for both sectors.”

Danielle Curtis, Exhibition Director ME at Arabian Travel Market, underscored the event’s commitment to fostering entrepreneurship and innovation within the travel industry. The pitch battle serves as a platform for emerging brands to unveil their cutting-edge solutions, driving significant change across the industry.

The conclusion of the largest ATM edition to date marks four days of impactful industry discussions and unparalleled networking opportunities spanning MICE, leisure, luxury, and corporate travel sectors. The final day’s agenda includes sessions focused on nurturing the next generation of travel and tourism talent, including the “Educating Young Entrepreneurs: Building a Career in Travel” session and the “Network with Future Leaders” event.
