Hologram Training

After a long day of work there’s no better way to let off steam than a hip roll or headlock! One of our designers is trained in the art of jiu jitsu and loves it dearly. Even as businesses reopen, it seems to be that it will be a while before some specific types of Training gyms reopen (mainly due to the amount of contact involved). We started to imagine what the coolest way of sparring, without actually making contact, would be and came up with “Train Me.”

The Train Me app would allow users create to holograms of sparring partners to help them stay fit, while we all have to mind is our distance from one another. The app would come with a jiu-jitsu uniform that would use radio-frequency identification (RFID) chips that track users’ movements. Train Me would also give its users the ability to pair with a Partner, who would also be on the app, to have socially-distanced training sessions.

The app would also be able to suggest different moves and workouts to practice, while at home, to help users stay fit. It would also keep track of how many workouts a user logs in a week, along with times they spar with a partner. Once a sparring session ends, the app would share statistics to help users track their progress and better assess how they can improve.
