Hydraulic or air cylinder

The hydraulic or air cylinder is the device that pushes the cone into the point of discharge. The cylinder is also used to regulate air pressure and prevent leakage.

A hydraulic or air cylinder is typically made of stainless steel, which makes it less likely to rust and require maintenance. It may have a reed switch, an air-pressure regulator, or a filter.

These cylinders may be single-acting, spring-returned, or cable-tensioned. They can be used with a load carriage or a pulley arrangement that doubles the stroke and speed.

Hydraulic cylinders are the preferred choice for applications that need high force and precision. They are capable of producing the required force while using only half the space needed by a mechanical press.
