Trade Marketing Coordinator Job in Kuwait

Role

This position is a part of the Marketing department and is in charge of carrying out the Kuwait operating strategy through all trade channels in order to achieve trade marketing, distribution, and brand objectives by using BAT best practises.

Reports to: Market Manager

Reporting Level: Individual Contributor

Geographic Scope: Local

To meet brand, volume, distribution, and share goals, execute trade plans for merchandising and trade activities across Kuwaiti trade channels.

Serving as the primary point of contact between brand deployment and trade functions will ensure that all cycle plan activities, with a focus on those that involve engaging ASU30 consumers, are carried out effectively.

Utilize all available resources to implement national presence in marketing and trade distribution programmes in order to maximize in-store exposure and sales performance for the key strategic brands across the area.

Develop a strong working relationship with the trade to get their active cooperation in order to increase volume and in-store presence while staying under predetermined budgets.

To keep the Area Manager and Market Manager fully informed at all times, provide trade marketing information and reports (daily, weekly) about performance and accounts.

Manage suppliers well (such as POSM printing) to guarantee that all authorized promotional or merchandising plans are carried out successfully and on schedule.

Skills & Knowledge

Bachelor’s degree at the very least in the field (Preference for bi-lingual – English & Arabic – speaking Graduates)

1-2 years of experience working as a coordinator or representative of trade marketing for another FMCG company, especially one that uses a trade marketing strategy

Strong interpersonal abilities

Efficient influencing techniques

Excellent written and vocal communicator

Strong knowledge in MS Office, particularly Excel and Power Point
Organised and possess superior time management abilities
the capacity to work independently
