According to a Fiverr study, with more satisfied people working from home, opportunities open up for them to add new sources of income to their income, so what are the common ones?

Brits can Rent out their car for passive income.

If someone has a vehicle that they don't need to use on a daily basis, they can rent it out to earn some extra money with Apps like Turo, Hiyacar, Karshare and Getaround.

These apps are making it easy to rent a car for a fee. According to Which.co.uk, some homeowners are said to earn an extra £400 a month.

He said: “I have regular bookings where people from the local area rent my car, and it brings me a steady monthly income.

“It means the £400 a month can be for me and my wife to enjoy. We still both work part time.”

If people live in the following UK cities, there is a higher chance of earning more: London, Bristol, Birmingham, Coventry and Manchester.

Another popular side hustle is using to-do apps.

Fiverr is a global online marketplace for freelance services.

Driving deliveries is another option. If people drive, they can earn money by delivering food.

If someone wants to work as a delivery person, they could earn additional income by working with brands like UberEats and Deliveroo.

Both apps deliver food from local restaurants to homes and businesses, in various towns and cities across the UK.

The drivers are autonomous and can work whenever they want.

Deliveroo explains that people could receive rates of up to £16 an hour, depending on where they work.

Lastly, people can consider user testing.

User testing is a process in which companies test new products or features with a target group of users before releasing them to the general public.

As a user tester, people will be given tasks to complete using the product or feature, and they will provide feedback on their experience.

User testing is a great way to earn some extra money, and it's also a great way to learn about new products and technologies, making for a great side hustle.

UserTesting.com customer Melanie Akinrode said: “On average, for every hour you can be paid $30 (around £22), but it depends on the tests you are chosen for. It ranges from around $10 – $60 (around £7 to £44).”

Melanie used her weekends to do this and usually the day doing different tests. She was able to earn £500 in a month.
