During the celebration of Nag Panchami, people worship the Nag Devta and give milk to snakes.

In the year 2022, Hindus will celebrate Nag Panchami, a festival during which snakes are venerated. This practise has existed since the beginning of Hinduism. The festival of Nag Panchami is observed on the fifth day of the lunar fortnight in the month of Sravana.

Nag Panchami is regarded as the biggest and most significant day for appeasing the snakes. As per religious tradition, snakes are venerated on this day. On Tuesday, August 2nd, the worship period will extend for about two and a half hours, from 6:05 to 8:41 a.m.
