They surpass my expectations, especially in terms of food quality. There is a big selection for both food and drink. We tried many small dishes (quick bites, appetizers, and dessert), and they are pretty tasty, well worth the price. It's often busy but the staff is quick and professional. The atmosphere is young and lively, suitable for friend gathering.

Incredible set menu ($39 per person) consisting of miso soup, seaweed & tofu salad, salmon tataki, Tokyo fries, JFC Karaage, oyster kakimayo, kinoko cheese bibimbap, and matcha ice cream.

Delicious izakaya! Service is friendly and fast and all the food was great! I especially liked the takoyaki, karaage, and agedashi tofu! If you've been to the church location, this one feels more spacious and less rowdy. They also do take reservations which is nice! Convenient and great option for Japanese food along the waterfront.

After the broadly disputed Toronto Purchase, when the Mississauga surrendered the area to the British Crown, the British established the town of York in 1793 and later designated it as the capital of Upper Canada.
