With the Soulver calculator app, the software flat rate Setapp has an attractive new addition. In addition, Soulver has just been released in version 3.7.2 and is equipped with a number of minor improvements and feature improvements.

It’s been a while since we last reviewed Setapp in detail. In principle, everything has remained the same since then, only the range of available software has grown steadily. For fixed rates from about 12 euros per month, you now have access to more than 200 Mac applications, including well-known names and extremely useful apps for a wide variety of applications.

The overview of all programs available as part of Setapp then includes Mac applications such as Downie, AirBuddy, Batteries, Path Finder, Luminar, Yoink, BusyCal, ForkLift, Bartender, BetterTouchTool, TripMode, iStat Menus, Disk Drill, PDF Sqeezer, Ulysses, Gemini, Canary Mail and now Soulver.

Combination of calculator and notepad

Soulver can be described as a combination calculator and notepad. In addition to the pure calculation function, the app also offers the possibility to note the associated facts or considerations, so that at a later date it is easy to gain insight into the result or the data on which a calculation is based.

The calculations with Soulver can also make it easier when you present additional information to third parties and want to provide them with not only the final result, but also the basic data associated with it.

Soulver is extremely flexible with regard to the possible mathematical operations and, in addition to fixed standards, can also record current data for, for example, currency conversion.

On its website, the developer offers the option to download its app for a 30-day free trial. Then you’ll need to buy the full version for $35 – or the new option to use Soulver as part of Setapp.
