This allows for very tiny amounts of money transfer not costing you more than sending the equivalent in USD.

Where Does the Gigecoin Come From?

All Gigecoins that will ever exist have already been created during the launch of the network which happened on September 9, 2015. The coin distribution however has not yet reached its final goal. 80% of all coins are held by us (the developers) or are locked up in multisig addresses for future use.
