250,000 Ambitious Youth Enroll in IT Courses in Sindh

Governor Kamran Khan Tessori of Sindh announced that the nearly completed air-conditioned pavilion would serve as a temporary facility for information technology students until the convention center at Governor House is constructed.

During a press conference held at gate number 4, Governor Tessori, along with IT experts Sir Zia Khan and Daniyal Nagori, JDC Head Zafar Abbas, and Governor House IT consultant Muzzammil Ather, emphasized the importance of showcasing the pavilion’s progress to the media. This demonstration aimed to dispel any doubts and reaffirm that the initiative to train 50,000 youth in IT is not a false claim but a promise that will soon be fulfilled. Governor Tessori also expressed his delight at the overwhelming response from the youth, with 250,000 individuals having registered on the website www.governorsindh.com for the entrance test.

Inside the pavilion, 400 computers will be installed, where Sir Zia Khan and his team will conduct classes for the selected candidates based on their performance in the entrance test. Governor Tessori expressed his gratitude to Sir Zia Khan and Daniyal Nagori for offering their services free of charge for this crucial initiative.

Highlighting the significance of this endeavor, Governor Tessori stated that the pavilion, which is being constructed solely for educational purposes, is unprecedented in Pakistan’s history. He mentioned that objections were raised when the IT training program was announced, questioning its feasibility. However, with the Governor House opening its doors for iftar during Ramadan, the IT training program will soon become a reality. Governor Tessori emphasized that Governor House would transform into an active educational institution for the youth.

Furthermore, Governor Tessori commended the support of Moulana Bashir Farooqui from Saylani and Zafar Abbas from JDC, stating that their contributions would contribute to the resounding success of this initiative.
