Xsolla Adds Chris Hewish as Interim CEO to Continue Its Global Expansion and Employee Growth

Xsolla, a global video game commerce company, announced today the appointment of Chris Hewish as the Interim CEO. An avid gamer, Hewish has turned his passion into a successful career, designing and producing over 50 games, collectively generating more than $1 billion in sales. His dynamic skill set combines a developer’s design and production skills, the strategic understanding of a publisher, and a media executive’s brand and marketing sensibilities. He boasts a rare and successful combination of creative and business acumen in an ever-changing industry.

With experience developing games in nearly every genre and platform and utilizing a variety of business models, Hewish is a cross-disciplinary executive. Furthermore, his entrepreneurial spirit is evident in his successful startup and turnaround experience with several game companies.

Hewish’s appointment comes following the role change of previous CEO Konstantin Golubitsky, who stepped up from CTO to CEO to accelerate Xsolla’s growth. During Golubitsky’s tenure, Xsolla has seen significant growth and has secured partnerships with major players like Epic Games, NetEase, Nexters, Roblox Corporation, Twitch, and Ubisoft.
