Renault Captur gets Mid-life Update

Renault Captur has undergone a remarkable facelift, the updated model boasts a complete redesign of its exterior, interior, and performance features

Redesigned Exterior

The main focus of this revamp is the redesigned front end sporting a sleek new grille, dynamic LED headlights, and an updated Renault logo, giving the Captur a fresh appearance. The rear of the vehicle has also received attention, with subtle tweaks to the brake lights and diffuser.

Enhanced Interior

Inside the cabin, the Captur has undergone significant revisions to elevate the driving experience. The vibrant orange trim has been replaced with eco-friendly materials. The centerpiece of the interior is the new 10.4-inch vertical touchscreen, featuring Renault’s innovative OpenR Link operating system with integrated Google functionality. Additionally, standard features such as Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, wireless charging, and multiple USB-C sockets ensure seamless connectivity and convenience for passengers.

Practicality and Versatility

The new Captur offers enhanced practicality, with a spacious boot capacity of 536 litres. The rear seats can be adjusted to provide additional legroom. Customers can choose from a range of trim options, including Evolution, Techno, and Esprit Alpine, each offering unique features and styling elements.

Performance and Engine Options

Under the hood, the Captur offers two engine options, a 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine delivering 90bhp, paired with a six-speed manual gearbox. Alternatively, customers can opt for the 145bhp hybrid variant, combining a 1.6-litre four-cylinder engine with e-motors for enhanced efficiency and performance. With four driving modes available—Eco, Sport, Comfort, and MySense.

Availability and Pricing

The refreshed Renault Captur is scheduled to debut in the third quarter of 2024, offering customers an exciting opportunity to experience its groundbreaking features and enhancements. While prices are yet to be confirmed, the new Captur is also likely to be launched in India giving Renault a much needed makeover in it’s lineup.
