KTM CUP Season 2 Roars into Action!

KTM has officially launched the second season of the Ktm Cup, India’s largest racing championship.

The first round of selections is set to be on the tracks in Coimbatore on March 22, 2024.

Racing Opportunities

The KTM CUP Season 2 is an invitation for motorcycle racing enthusiasts across India to immerse themselves in the thrill of the track. KTM Pro-XP’s initiative aims to provide riders with experiences that transform them into true professionals.

Selection Rounds

The selection rounds will take place in key cities – Coimbatore, Delhi, Mumbai, and Kolkata. The grand finale is scheduled to take place on May 26th at the prestigious Kari Motor Speedway in Coimbatore.

Success of Season 1

Season 1, held in 2022-23, created waves of excitement, attracting over 1,000 racers from every corner of India. The overwhelming response showcased KTM’s commitment to nurturing the racing spirit in the country.

Three Champions, One Unforgettable Experience

The three champions from KTM CUP Season 1 were treated to a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity – training with KTM experts at the Slovakia Ring and interacting with KTM Factory racing athletes.

Three Distinct Categories for Season 2

In a bid to level the playing field, Season 2 introduces three distinct categories: PROS, WOMEN, AND AMATEURS. Each category caters to different skill levels, ensuring a fair and exciting competition.

Categories :

  1. PROS: KTM CUP Season 1 participants (excluding the top 3 winners), FMSCI License Holders/INMRC Racers from the last 3 years, and one-make championship participants.
  2. AMATEURS: All other male KTM owners and any male motorcycle enthusiasts.
  3. WOMEN: All other female KTM owners and any female motorcycle enthusiasts (entry restricted to the City round for non-owners, while participants must be KTM owners for the Qualifying/Finale rounds).

Exclusive Prizes Await the Victors

The top 3 winners of KTM CUP Season 2 will earn an exclusive chance to train with MotoGP legends and former Grand Prix winners at the Red Bull Ring in Salzburg, Austria. A fortunate winner will also get the opportunity to intern with Powerdrift.

Notable Figures in the Racing World to Preside

Jeremy McWilliams, an ex-MotoGP racer with two podium finishes in the 500cc class and a win in the 250cc class, will look over the races. The event will be supported by Emmanuel Jebaraj, seven-time National INMRC Champion and founder of Gusto Racing, India.

A Word from KTM’s Leadership

Sumeet Narang, President (Probiking) at Bajaj Auto Ltd., expressed his excitement, stating, “The second season of the KTM CUP is KTM’s effort to breed racing into KTM owners.” With over 70 years of racing history and 341+ world championship titles, KTM remains committed to turning ambitious amateur riders into pro-bikers.
