TVS Racing Revs Up for ARRC Season 2024

TVS Racing gears up for the third consecutive appearance at the Idemitsu FIM Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) on March 8, 2024.

TVS Racing’s Success

TVS Racing is set to continue its international success with the third edition of the Tvs Asia Omc. Building on the achievements of the inaugural event in 2022. TVS Racing aims to break records and set new milestones with its flagship motorcycle, the TVS Apache RR 310.

TVS Apache RR 310

The TVS Apache RR 310, the chosen bike for this thrilling championship, has already made history by setting a top speed record of 215.9 kmph at the Chang International Circuit, Thailand.

Global Participation

The season opener, set to take place at the Chang International Circuit, will witness riders from nine countries, including newcomers from Germany and Korea.

Notable returnees Md Muzakkir Mohamed of Malaysia, Hiroki Ono of Japan, and Vorapong Malahuan of Thailand, will join riders from India and Indonesia, along with six talented newcomers, forming a formidable lineup of fifteen riders.

Technical Advancements

Riding the TVS Asia OMC RR 310, based on the stock TVS Apache RR 310, the racers will experience enhanced performance with an advanced EFi and electronics system.

The overall braking system has been refined, featuring improved engine braking and a consistent brake system, ensuring a heightened level of precision and control on the race track.

Vimal Sumbly, Head Business – Premium at TVS Motor Company, expressed the significance of TVS Racing’s third year at the Idemitsu FIM ARRC.

Emphasizing their dedication to motorsport, excellence, and innovation, he highlighted the role of the championship in showcasing the brand’s engineering prowess and performance capabilities.

Expanding the ARRC Reach

Ron Hogg, Promotions Director of Two Wheels Motor Racing, acknowledged the instrumental role of TVS Asia OMC in expanding the ARRC since its debut in 2022.

Welcoming the entries of two additional countries in the one-make series, he emphasized the goal of broadening the brand’s proposition and attracting new interests in Asian motorsports.

The shared vision is to elevate the standards of Asian motorsports while ensuring a wider demographic is reached.

Ensuring Rider Safety

A notable addition to this season is the incorporation of the Alpinestars air-bag system in the racers’ suits, enhancing safety measures and instilling confidence among riders.

The Road Ahead

The Idemitsu FIM Asia Road Racing Championship is set to kick off on March 15, 2024, with Round 1 at the Chang International Circuit.

With no changes to the racing format, the season will progress through six rounds, promising an exhilarating display of skill, speed, and determination.
