The Indian Automotive Industry is gearing up for new car launches. In this festive season, 6 new cars are expected to be launched in the market. It includes 4 new SUVs, a new MPV and an EV. Here are the top upcoming cars in this festive season:

Honda Elevate

Honda is all set to launch the new Elevate in September 2023. Based on the platform of 5th gen City, the design of Elevate resembles the sedan. It gets a new grille with chrome treatment, slim LED headlights and skid plates. Furthermore, the design of the compact SUV is highlighted by the striking new alloy wheels and a sporty rear profile.

Meanwhile, this SUV will be powered by a 1.5L ivtec petrol Engine which produces 120ps of power output. This engine is coupled to a 6-Speed Manual and CVT gearboxes.

Citroen C3 Aircross

Citroen is gearing up to launch its new C3 Aircross in India. Based on the CMP platform, the design of the new C3 Aircross looks bulky and has a funky stance. It gets split-type LED headlights, a new grille with chrome slats, 4 ring-shaped alloy wheels, C-shaped LED taillights, etc. These elements enhance the aesthetic appeal of the SUV.

Powering this SUV will be a 1.2L turbocharged petrol engine with 110ps of power. Meanwhile, there will be options for Manual and Automatic Gearboxes. The carmaker will announce the prices of the C3 Aircross by October 2023.

Tata Nexon facelift

After launching the Punch CNG, Tata Motors is preparing to launch the Nexon. What will make it different is the Curvv concept inspired design language. In this image, it is visible that the compact SUV gets split type headlights, a new grille, redesigned bumper, and alloys. Also, the carmaker will redesign its interior with more features and premium appeal.

Meanwhile, Tata is preparing to launch their new 1.2L T-GDi petrol engine in the Nexon. This engine will make 125ps of power output. However, the carmaker will still provide the 1.5L diesel engine. Along with a new engine, the new Nexon facelift will debut their new 7-Speed DCT gearbox.

Toyota Rumion

Toyota has recently unveiled their new 7-seater MPV called the Rumion. The Rumion is the rebadged version of the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. It uses the same Heartect platform which is also available in Glanza. However, the design of the Rumion is different from Ertiga with a new grille, redesigned bumpers, and new 15-inch alloys.

Meanwhile, Toyota Rumion gets 1.5L petrol and CNG engine options. Also, the MPV will get the options of a 5-Speed Manual and a 6-Speed Automatic Gearbox. Toyota will announce the prices of the Rumion in the coming weeks.

Audi Q8 E-Tron

Audi is going to launch the new Q8 E-Tron on August 18, 2023. However, it is the facelift version of the current Q8 SUV. In the facelift version, the new Q8 E-Tron received several changes to its exterior profile. With a new grille, new lights, large intakes, and the new Audi logo, the new Q8 looks sharp, stylish and upmarket in its design.

With this update, the SUV is loaded with features like a new sound system, power-adjustable seats, an updated infotainment system, 4-zone climate control, etc. Meanwhile, the new Q8 E-Tron features a 114kWh battery pack and a 408hp electric motor. Also, the claimed range of this electric SUV is 600km.

Volvo C40 Recharge

Volvo is all set to launch its C40 Recharge SUV in India on the 4th of September 2023. This SUV uses the same CMA platform which is present in the XC40. However, it features a new coupe design, LED headlights with DRLs, a new grille, stylish alloys, and LED taillights.

Meanwhile, the SUV gets the new twin electric motor setup making 408hp and 660nm of output. With the new 78kWh battery pack, we expect that the claimed range will be up to 500 km.
