Earlier this year, Ducati announced that they will launch various motorcycles this year. Now, Ducati has launched the Diavel V4 in India with a price tag of Rs. 25.91 Lakhs Ex-showroom. However, the new Diavel V4 uses the same 1.2L engine as the Multistrada V4.

Ducati Diavel V4: Engine and Transmission

At the heart of the matter of the new Ducati Diavel V4 is a 1,158cc V4 Gran Turismo engine. However, the state of tune of the Diavel V4 is different than the Multistrada V4 engine. This engine produces 168 hp of power at 10,750 rpm and 126 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm. The Diavel V4 has 2hp less than the adventure bike but it has 9hp more than the old Diavel 1260.

Meanwhile, the Ducati Diavel V4 uses the 6-Speed Manual Transmission with bi-directional quick-shift technology. The Ducati Diavel V4 gets the new cylinder deactivation system feature. This feature shuts down 2 of its cylinders which increases the mileage and prevents engine overheating.

Ducati Diavel V4: Chassis and Platform

With this update, the overall weight of the new Diavel V4 has dropped by 12 kg. The weight of the superbike is rated at 236kg. The reason for the significant weight reduction is the new frame due to which the new Diavel lost 8kg. Unlike the trellis steel frame from the old Diavel, the new Diavel uses the aluminium monocoque platform. However, the rear subframe of the motorcycle still has the trellis steel frame with an aluminium single swing arm unit.

Meanwhile, the suspension setup includes the 50mm USD forks at the front and mono-shock at the rear. The front and rear suspension can be adjusted as per the requirements of the rider. The new Diavel gets 120mm travel at the front and 145mm travel at the rear. However, the handlebar of the new Diavel is 20mm closer to the rider and it gets the seat height of 790mm.

Ducati Diavel V4: Design and Features

The design of the new Ducati Diavel V4 looks bulky and has an aggressive stance. It features the new LED headlight, DRLs in the shape of horse shoe, and new dual-tone alloy wheels. The 2-wheeler maker has added the new diamond cut effect to its dual-tone alloys.

At the rear, the new Ducati Diavel V4 features a group of small LED lights at the tail section which forms a taillight. Also, the motorcycle features black treatment at the exhaust and panels to reduce the visual bulk. The new Diavel V4 gets an upright exhaust with a quad-shaped muffler which adds to its sporty styling.

In terms of features, the new Ducati Diavel V4 gets a 5-inch TFT digital screen which shows various vehicle info. It also gets Bluetooth connectivity, a navigation system, dynamic indicators, cruise control, launch control, cornering ABS, traction control, wheelie control, etc.

Pricing Details and Brand Ambassador

Ducati has priced the new Diavel V4 at Rs. 25.91 Lakhs Ex-showroom. This bike is available in 2 colour options namely the Ducati Red and Thrilling Red.

Moreover, Ducati has announced that Ranveer Singh is their new brand ambassador. The prominent Bollywood Actor is making their comeback to motorcycling with the Ducati. Ranveer Singh will promote the Ducati brand on his various channels. Also, the Actor will join Ducati for various events like Bharat GP, MotoGP races in the Asia-Pacific region and World Ducati Week in Italy.
