Hyundai has launched the new Adventure Edition variants for Creta and Alcazar. However, the changes are limited to the exterior and the addition of new features. The carmaker has introduced it as the replacement for the Knight Edition.

Meanwhile, the price range of Creta Adventure starts from Rs. 15.17 Lakhs and Alcazar Adventure starts from Rs. 19.04 Lakhs Ex-showroom.

Powertrain Options

There are no changes to the mechanicals in the Adventure Edition model of Creta and Alcazar. Both the SUVs are offered with respective sets of petrol and diesel engines.

The Creta Adventure Edition gets the 1.5L 4-cylinder non-turbo VTVT petrol engine only. This engine makes 114hp and 144nm of output. However, this engine is available with 6-Speed Manual and CVT gearbox options.

Meanwhile, the Alcazar Adventure Edition is available with both petrol and diesel engines. It gets the 1.5L 4-cylinder turbocharged T-GDi petrol engine making 160hp and 253nm of output. This engine can be had with a 6-Speed Manual or 7-Speed DCT gearbox.

The Alcazar Adventure Edition is also available with the 1.5L 4-cylinder CRDi diesel engine. This engine produces 114hp of power and 250nm of torque output. But it is available with 6-Speed Manual and Automatic Gearbox options.

Furthermore, the Adventure Edition boasts black treatments on the bumper garnish, roof rails, and alloy wheels, giving the vehicle a bold and commanding presence. The wing mirrors, side sills, and shark fin antenna also feature the same striking black treatment. To complete the distinctive look, Adventure Edition badges adorn the fenders, and a dark chrome Hyundai logo graces the rear.

Interior and Features:

The Adventure Edition takes the interior to a new level with an all-black theme, exuding sophistication and elegance. Hyundai has paid attention to detail by adding contrast stitching, new upholstery, and Adventure Edition badges on the seats and door sills, providing a luxurious and comfortable cabin experience.

Not just limited to aesthetics, the Adventure Edition also introduces a range of exciting features. Among them are the new Saga green inserts, a dashcam with twin cameras, adventure mats, and metal finish pedals, enhancing convenience and elevating the driving experience for passengers.

The Adventure Edition offers a wide range of color options for both the Creta and Alcazar models, allowing customers to choose according to their preferences and style. The color choices for the Creta include Abyss Black, Atlas White, Titan Grey, Ranger Khaki, and unique combinations of Atlas White with Abyss Black and Ranger Khaki with Abyss Black.

For the Alcazar, customers can opt for Abyss Black, Atlas White, Titan Grey, and Ranger Khaki. Also, it gets more stylish combinations such as Atlas White with Abyss Black and Ranger Khaki with Abyss Black. Additionally, Titan Grey with Abyss Black offers a distinct option for those seeking a touch of elegance.

Pricing and the Competition

The pricing of the Creta Adventure Edition starts from Rs. 15.17 Lakhs Ex-showroom. While the pricing of the Alcazar Adventure Edition starts from Rs. 19.04 Lakhs Ex-showroom. Below are the pricing details:

After launch, it will compete with Skoda Kushaq’s Lava Matte and Blue Edition, Volkswagen Taigun GT Edge Edition, Maruti Grand Vitara, Kia Seltos, etc.
