Kia India has recently launched the Seltos facelift in the market. With this facelift, the new Seltos gets a redesigned exterior, more features, and power. Meanwhile, the price range of the new Kia Seltos starts from Rs. 10.89 Lakhs Ex-showroom. Below is our opinion and review of the new Kia Seltos:
Kia Seltos Facelift: Exterior Design and Styling
The new Kia Seltos Facelift looks sharper and more aggressive in styling. Upfront, the new Seltos gets a new grille with chrome finishing, LED DRLs which extend to the grille, and new LED headlights. Also, the front bumper gets the satin silver finish, a new air dam, and redesigned ice cube fog lamps.
Meanwhile, there are a few changes in the side profile of the updated SUV. The new Seltos gets new satin silver finished roof rails and 17-inch alloy wheels. However, the design of the alloy wheel is different for the Tech Line, GT Line, and X-Line trims. Also, the new Seltos gets chrome highlights on the window line and gets new outer mirrors.
The main highlight of the new Kia Seltos is the refreshed rear profile. Meanwhile, the compact SUV retains a similar silhouette as its previous mode. The Seltos facelift features the new connected LED taillights with KIA Logo, a new tailgate, and a new bumper. The rear bumper gets parking sensors, a new diffuser, and a functional exhaust muffler in the GT line variant.
Kia Seltos Facelift: Interior and Features
Like the exterior, the new Kia Seltos gets refreshed interior with a new theme. However, the interior theme is different for various trims of the compact SUV. The SUV gets a new dashboard with a twin-display panel, a D-Cut steering wheel with mounted controls, and new AC vents.
The center console gets various features like wireless charging, a new AC control panel, buttons for ventilated seats, and a parking camera. The carmaker has added some new features to the Seltos facelift which are mentioned below:

In this review, we drove the Turbo Petrol IMT and the Diesel Automatic. The new Seltos has debuted a new 1.5L turbo petrol engine with 160ps and 253nm of output. With this engine, the new Seltos feels peppier and has a good mid-range power delivery. Meanwhile, the 6-Speed IMT gearbox offers smooth shifts and it is easy to use.
Talking about the Diesel AT, the new Seltos gets a 1.5L diesel engine with 116ps and 250nm of output. With this engine, the new Seltos has great low-end drivability and good power delivery with higher fuel efficiency. Meanwhile, the 6-Speed AT gearbox is smooth in response and offers good shifts.
However, the Kia has tuned the suspension of the Seltos facelift. The company has claimed that they have made some changes to the suspension setup. In this review, we felt that the front suspension is slightly stiff but the rear suspension is softer than before. Despite tuning in suspension, the steering of the new Seltos offers a good feel and feedback which results in a good handling.
Kia Seltos Facelift: The Conclusion
With this update, the new Kia Seltos offers a good package of design, features, performance, mileage, and good value. The main highlights of the new Kia Seltos are the new design, Advanced ADAS tech, and new turbo petrol engine. Unlike its other rivals, the new Kia Seltos retains the diesel engine like its sibling the Creta.
The new Seltos gets improved drivability and fuel efficiency. Moreover, the new Seltos gets a tuned suspension with better comfort and handling balance.
