Maruti Suzuki is planning to launch more cars in the market. Moreover, the carmaker is preparing to enter the EV segment in India. Below are the details of upcoming Maruti Suzuki cars:
New-Generation Maruti Suzuki Swift
The carmaker will introduce the 4th generation of the Swift in 2024. The test mules of next-gen Swift are often spotted in Europe. The new Swift will get the new Exterior and Interior design.
But, the next-gen Swift will use the same platform which is already used in other models. Also, the next-gen Swift will get a new strong hybrid petrol engine.
New-Generation Maruti Suzuki Dzire
Like the Swift, the Dzire will also get a generation update. The carmaker will launch the new generation of Dzire in 2024. The exterior and interior of the new Dzire will look like the new Swift. Its next generation will also use the same platform as the new Swift. Meanwhile, the next-gen Dzire will get a new strong hybrid petrol engine.
Maruti Suzuki eVX
Maruti Suzuki is preparing to enter the EV segment. Recently, the carmaker displayed the eVX concept at Auto Expo 2023. The eVX will be the first electric vehicle of Maruti Suzuki.
The new electric vehicle will use a platform developed by Toyota. Maruti will provide a larger battery pack with the eVX model. The eVX will deliver 500kms of range on a single charge.
The plans for launch of affordable EVs
Recently, Maruti Suzuki revealed its plans of launching electric cars. The carmaker will launch the electric version of WagonR and Jimny by 2025.
Moreover, Maruti Suzuki will launch more CNG models in their lineup. Also, they will launch more models with the powerful 1.0L Boosterjet petrol engine. This engine is currently available in the Fronx.
Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara 7-seater
Maruti Suzuki is developing the new 7-seater version of the Grand Vitara. The carmaker will launch this SUV by 2025 in the market. The carmaker will offer 6-seater and 7-seater options in this SUV.
Meanwhile, the 7-seater version of the Grand Vitara will get petrol and hybrid engines. The 1.5L petrol and hybrid engines are already used in the 5-seater version of the Grand Vitara. This SUV will take on MG Hector Plus, Hyundai Alcazar, Citroen C3 Aircross, etc.
