Nissan India has launched the Magnite Geza Edition at Rs. 7.39 Lakhs Ex-showroom. The Geza edition is based on the XL variant and is brimmed with a slew of additional features. However, this limited-edition variant of the Magnite is oriented towards tweaks in the infotainment and sound system.

About Nissan Magnite Geza Edition

Nissan Magnite is a Sub4-metre compact SUV from the house of the Japanese Carmaker. This SUV is based on the CMFA+ platform sharing its underpinnings with Renault Triber and Renault Kiger. This results in a 4-star safety rating in Global NCAP. On the safety front, this variant gets 2-Airbags, ABS, ESP, TCS, Hill Assist, TPMS, etc. Meanwhile, Nissan has added a new shark fin antenna in the Magnite GEZA Special Edition.

In terms of features, the Geza Edition variant gets a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple Carplay and Android Auto connectivity. This infotainment system is mated to a JBL Audio system and shows the display of the rear parking camera with guidelines. However, the SUV also gets ambient lightning, a shark fin antenna, and the option of premium beige upholstery.

Engine Options

Nissan Magnite is available with various engine options complying with BS6 phase-2 emission norms. However, the GEZA edition is only available with a 1.0L 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine. This engine produces 71hp and 96nm of torque output coupled to a 5-Speed Manual Transmission.

Meanwhile, the other variants are also available with a 1.0L 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine. This engine churns out 99hp of power and 152-160nm of torque output. With this engine, buyers can choose from a 5-Speed Manual or a CVT Transmission.

Pricing, Warranty and Competition

Nissan India has retailed the Magnite GEZA edition at Rs. 7.39 Lakhs Ex-showroom. The carmaker is offering a standard warranty of 2 years or 50,000 km whichever is earlier.

However, customers can opt for an extended warranty package of up to 5 years for better peace of mind. Nissan Magnite continues to compete with its rivals like Renault Kiger, Maruti Suzuki Fronx, Citroen C3, and Tata Punch.
