2022 was the best year ever for Ducati, with a record of 61,562 motorcycles delivered globally. In comparison to 2021, when 59,346 units were sold, this represented an increase of 3.6%. Ducati also achieved success on the racetrack, winning both the MotoGP and WorldSBK championships with Francesco Bagnaia and Alvaro Bautista. The most recent world championships, won by Casey Stoner in MotoGP in 2007 and Carlos Checa in World Superbike in 2011, were both eagerly anticipated. 10,716 units of the Multistrada V4 range bikes were sold, while 9,578 bikes were sold in Italy, Ducati’s top market.

Ducati’s home country of Italy saw sales of 9,578 motorcycles in 2022, making it the brand’s top market. The United States came in second with 8,441 motorcycle sales. Germany was the third-best-selling market for Ducati, with 6,678 motorcycles shipped.

With 10,716 motorcycles delivered worldwide, the Multistrada V4 line of the Bologna-based manufacturer was the best-selling model. The Monster was the brand’s second best-selling model with 7,739 units sold. The Scrambler 800 line with 6,880 bikes delivered, rounded out the top three.

With 821 Ducati dealerships worldwide. Which includes the opening of two new dealerships in India at Chandigarh and Ahmedabad set a record for Ducati’s rapidly growing sales network.

Recently Ducati also became the only manufacturer of motorcycles for the FIM Enel MotoE World Championship racing starting this year. The business has been developing an electric motorcycle for the same purpose, and it has been put through extensive testing for more than a year. Ducati has finally started manufacturing this electric race bike after testing it at the Misano World Circuit Marco.

The V21L race motorcycles were first put into production in December 2022, and 23 of them are expected to be finished by mid-February. Five units are being prepared as a backup, even though 18 of these will be used on the track. Together with the Ducati Corse team, Ducati’s R&D engineers are working diligently to develop these motorcycles.
