Ducati Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak Launched At ₹31.48 Lakh

Ducati is rolling out the sportiest iteration of its Multistrada V4 in the form of a Pikes Peak Edition. Launched in the country on Monday the 10th of October, a year after its global launch, the Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak comes at a price tag of Rs. 31,48,000 ex-showroom with deliveries set to start from next month. Ducati has already opened bookings for the model across all its dealerships in New Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Pune, and Mumbai.

Powering the Pikes Peak is a V4 Gran Turismo – an 1158 cc motor capable of producing 170 horses and a maximum of 125Nm at 8,750 rpm paired with a 6-speed gearbox. This engine weighs in at just 66.7 kgs and is also Euro 5 compliant. Onboard safety equipment includes traction control, cornering ABS, hill-hold assist, wheelie control, cornering function for headlights, etc, the highlight being ADAS features and Adaptive Cruise Control enabled by a radar system at the front and back. The motorcycle comes with 4 riding modes namely Urban, Sport, Touring, and Race. The dashboard captivates with a striking 6.5-inch TFT touchscreen with the Ducati Connect system controlling all the functions of the bike & allowing navigation and phone screen mirroring for ease of use.

When you set your eyes on a Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak for the first time, the gold anodized front forks and single-sided swing arm grab your attention. The V4 Pikes Peak also gets a titanium Akrapovic carbon exhaust, 17-inch forged aluminum Marchesini alloy rims, and other carbon fiber bits for weight reduction, making the bike 4.4 kgs lighter than the V4 S. The Multistrada weighs in at 214 kgs and now comes with revised ergonomics i.e., the footpegs have been pushed back and the handlebar is now lower and narrower.

Suspension duties are handled by USD Öhlins electronically adjustable semi-active suspension i.e., the Smart EC 2.0 system also adopted by the Multistrada V4. The Marchesini alloys come equipped with Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV rubber. Continue looking and you just cannot miss the sporty Pikes Peak livery inspired by the 2021 Desmosedici GP bike with a two-tone black and red rear seat adorning the V4 logo. A small smoked visor and the Ducati Corse badge applied to the front end complete the look.
